    EVENT: Pre-Summit Conference on "Governing Global Security: The Role of Summit Diplomacy"

     
    As a sponsor of the G8 Research Group pre-summit conference on "Governing Global Security: The Role of Summit Diplomacy" on June 18-19, 2010, at the Munk School of Global Affairs, the Canadian International Council - Toronto branch has been provided with a LIMITED NUMBER OF tickets for CIC Toronto branch members ONLY to be conference delegates.
     
    On the eve of the G8 Muskoka Summit, the conference will provide more detailed and timely advice to the G8 governments and information to a broader stakeholder audience about the political-security issues on the G8 agenda. It is designed to inform an expert group of the current status of the key issues that the forthcoming Muskoka Summit will deal with, the way it is able to advance those issues and the priorities of the Canadian government as co-host at this critical stage.

NOTE: Only those who receive a confirmation from the Toronto branch will be listed as a conference delegate and be allowed to attend the sessions.
