At a membership recognition event organized by CIIA Board Member Jo-Ann Davis, members gathered on a pleasant summer evening to enjoy a drink and discussion about the events of the past year. The highlight of the event was a stimulating and challenging speech by Douglas Goold, who highlighted some of the major international events of the past year and offered insightful comments on some of the major challenges facing Canada internationally. Mr. Goold also spoke to some of the opportunities for the Canadian Institute of International Affairs, including the expanding relationship with CIGI.
