On May 27th, 2008, at the law offices of Aird & Berlis in downtown Toronto, members got together for an evening to discuss the implications of the new government change in Taiwan and its regional effects. The three panelists all offered unique and well-founded perspectives on the topic which led to a great exploration of the regional changes currently underway and helped to engage all three panelists and the audience into much discussion. The three No’s of President Ma have already led to regional stability as trade and direct flight between China and Taiwan continues to increase, was one of the major conclusions from the panelists.
