Entitled, “Media in Canada & Abroad: Pluralism, Power & Persuasion”, this event was a rare opportunity to see two eminent speakers come together in Toronto to emphasize the power of journalism to create positive change, and the need and difficulties facing local and international media in presenting human rights stories from conflict zones.
